We started our dog on this about 8 weeks ago, as well as giving him acupressure because he has arthritis and hip dysplasia and seemed to be deteriorating badly. Since then, he has been steadily improving, becoming bouncier again. This morning, he jumped onto the couch for the first time in months (it had become a painful, slow struggle for him). I definitely recommend this product.
